Classes and Events

During November we have meditation on the first and third Thursday and some fun special events lined up!

See details below in our  SPECIAL EVENTS  following our regular weekly schedule. Or you can look for our newsletter on the "Search" page.  And please check out our Psychic Fair page!

Monday Night Book Club:  Our Monday Night Book Club will be taking a break and will resume at a later date.

Thursday Night:  Meditation, Nov.1 and Nov. 15, at 7 pm:  Those who have attended our Sunday night Services have heard at least one person say - "prayer is when we talk with God, meditation is when we listen".  We say that a lot around here because meditation is how we connect with Spirit. Join us on the first and third Thursday nights at 7pm.  Oct. 4 is our regular meditation and Oct. 18 is a guided meditation.  Cost: A minimum $5 love donation is requested.

Wheel of the Year - Annual cycle of eight seasonal festivals celebrating the breadth of traditions common among our congregation.  Observing the cycle of the seasons was important to our ancestors and we base our celebrations on folk traditions, modern paganism and contemporary holiday practices.   As an Interfaith organization we seek to honor and learn though these shared experiences with a pot luck, youth crafts, ritual and activities chosen to further our understanding of ancient tradition.

Our next Wheel of the Year celebration will be scheduled shortly.

TAROT 101:   Tarot 101 continues for another two weeks, ending on Tuesday, Nov. 13.  7 - 9 pm. On Tuesday, Nov. 6, we'll pick up with the 7 of Pentacles and start on the Suit of Swords, if time allows. The following Tuesday, Nov. 13, will be our final class and we'll complete the Suit of Swords.  Bring a notebook and your favorite tarot deck.  A variety of decks will also be available for purchase.  This will be a hands-on class so you will practice doing your own readings before you know it!   Cost: Love Donation

Deer Widows' Night: Saturday, Nov. 17, 7 - 10 pm.  This will be a benefit event for Ron Genaw, the son of Rev. Jeannie Genaw.  Ron has been hit with a life altering illness and is struggling to get his life back.  We will have food, drinks, tarot readings, a henna artist, and a lot of fun for all!  See our November newsletter on our "Search" page for details.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door.

TABLE TIPPING: Last Monday of the month, Nov. 26, 7 pm. Table tipping is a form of physical mediumship, which has been around for over 100 years and is regaining popularity.  Join Rev. Jeannie Genaw on the last Monday of each month to experience this unique form of spirit communication for yourself.  A miniumum $5 love donation is requested.
